These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ValvEye mobile application (the "App") provided by ValvEye ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the App.
1. Use of the App
ValvEye is designed to assist users in managing valve-related data onboard ships. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for all data you input into the App.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or professional purposes in accordance with these Terms.
3. User Account
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Subscription, Free Trial, and Payments
ValvEye is a subscription-based application.
We offer the following auto-renewing subscription plans:
• Monthly Subscription – billed monthly
• Annual Subscription – billed annually
New users are eligible for a 7-day free trial. After the trial period ends, the selected subscription will automatically begin and the applicable subscription fee will be charged unless the subscription is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial.
Subscription fees are charged to your Google Play Store or Apple App Store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled by the user through their account settings.
Users can manage or cancel their subscriptions at any time via their App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.
No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period unless required by law.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality in the App-including but not limited to text, images, software, and design-are the intellectual property of ValvEye or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
6. Data and Privacy
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your data, but we reserve the right to use anonymized data for product improvement and analytics.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time and without notice if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ValvEye shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark.
