Google Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture to create your account.
User Profile: You may optionally provide additional details such as a display name or bio.
Physical Activity: We access your device's health data (e.g., Apple Health, Google Health Connect) to track your daily steps and physical activity. This data is used solely to visualize your progress and gamify your experience (e.g., earning XP).
Meals & Habits: Data you explicitly log regarding your meals, sustainability habits, and mood.
Events: We may request access to your location to help you find or create community events near you. This location data is not stored permanently on our servers and is used only for the purpose of the event feature.
Community Posts: Information you post on the community board (text, likes, comments) is public to other Valora users.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
Service Provision: To provide, operate, and maintain the Valora app.
Personalization: To track your progress, calculate your Eco Score and Level, and provide tailored insights.
Community: To facilitate interaction with other users through events and posts.
Authentication: To secure your account via Google Sign-In.
We use Supabase (a secure, open-source Firebase alternative) to store your user profile and generated content. Supabase implements robust security measures to protect your data.
Health Data: Your step count data is read from your device and may be synced to our servers only to calculate your level/XP. It is not shared with third parties.
Google Sign-In: Used for authentication.
Supabase: Used for database and backend services.
OpenStreetMap / Nominatim: Used for location search in events.

Delete Your Account: You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data directly within the app or by contacting us.
Valora is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
