Valhalla Airlines offers a structured progression system with realistic ranks, XP‑based advancement and dedicated type rating training for both Airbus and Boeing aircraft.

Pilot Ranks

XP & Reward System ✈️ 💰 📈 
Valhalla Airlines uses a simple and transparent reward system based on distance flown:

• 1 XP / NM

• 4 USD / NM

This ensures balanced progression, fair rewards and long‑term motivation for all pilots.

🛫 Base Aircraft – Available from Cadet Rank

Cadet pilots may begin flying on our two base aircraft types. These aircraft are designed to introduce pilots to the VA environment, logging system and basic operational procedures. 

A320 (Airbus)

• Available from: Cadet

• Required: Basic VA onboarding completed

• Purpose: Short‑haul European operations

• Notes: Ideal for learning modern Airbus fly‑by‑wire logic

B737 (Boeing)

• Available from: Cadet

• Required: Basic VA onboarding completed

• Purpose: Short‑haul & medium‑haul operations

• Notes: Perfect for learning traditional Boeing control philosophy

🛩️ Airbus Type Ratings

Airbus A330 Type Rating

Minimum Rank: Junior First Officer (JFO)

Minimum Hours: 30 VA hours

Prerequisite: Completed A320 base training

Assessment: Basic long‑haul procedures check

Notes:  

Introduces pilots to widebody handling and medium‑long range operations.

Airbus A350 Type Rating

Minimum Rank: First Officer (FO)

Minimum Hours: 60 VA hours

Prerequisite: A330 type rating

Assessment: Advanced long‑haul & ETOPS check

Notes:  

Flagship long‑haul aircraft with advanced systems and high‑efficiency performance.

Airbus A400M Cargo Type Rating

Minimum Rank: Senior First Officer (SFO)

Minimum Hours: 80 VA hours

Prerequisite: A320 base training

Assessment: Cargo operations checkride

Notes:  

Military‑grade cargo aircraft capable of heavy logistics missions and challenging environments.

🛫 Boeing Type Ratings

Boeing 777 Type Rating

Minimum Rank: First Officer (FO)

Minimum Hours: 50 VA hours

Prerequisite: B737 base training

Assessment: Heavy aircraft handling check

Notes:  

Long‑haul widebody aircraft with high payload capability and robust performance.

Boeing 787 Dreamliner Type Rating

Minimum Rank: Senior First Officer (SFO)

Minimum Hours: 70 VA hours

Prerequisite: B777 type rating

Assessment: Modern systems & fuel‑efficiency procedures check

Notes:  

Next‑generation long‑range aircraft with advanced avionics and exceptional fuel efficiency.

6. Senior Captain → Mentor roles
