Valeria Córdova
I am a Ph.D. student at the Economics Department of KU Leuven. My advisors are Mariana Zerpa and Laurens Cherchye. I visited the Department of Economics at Oxford University, hosted by Hamish Low.
My research is in family economics, with a particular focus on relationship dynamics and their policy implications. I investigate factors influencing individuals' choice between cohabitation and marriage and how these different relationship structures affect the welfare impact of various policies. To address these topics, I employ structural models of the household.
