Day 4 - Lunchroom Sit Where You Want Challenge

The GRADE level with the biggest jump in donations over the weekend will earn a lunch where students get to sit anywhere you want at lunch!

We've hit 50% of our fundraising goal and have 33 states!

The Valentine Hills Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) kicked off our 5th annual CARES-a-thon Fundraiser on September 22nd! Over the course of 2 weeks, your child will be learning about C.A.R.E.S. (Cooperation, Assertion, Responsibility, Empathy and Self Control). Students will ask their families, neighbors, and friends to SHOW THEY CARE by donating to the Valentine Hills PTO. There is nothing to sell and no activities to complete. This fundraiser supports all PTO activities for the school year.

Your donations will:

Fund classroom enrichment, in-school activities, and celebrations

Build community with family socials (bingo night, school carnival)

Support teachers and staff with classroom expenses

Provide staff appreciation and much more!

Some incentives that classes can earn:

extra recess

pajama day

stuffed animal day

movie and popcorn day

freezies

silent disco

All students will receive a free t-shirt. Students that register will also earn a small prize.

Collecting Donations

Online donations are a great way to reach distant family and friends. They are secure for you and your donors, and efficient for us to track and collect. Register your child for the CARES-a-thon to earn a prize. Or visit www.getmovinfundhub.com and enter School Identifier: 626953cfd16d2.
Donations collected in the form of cash or check should be placed and sealed into the envelope provided and turned in by Thursday 10/1 to ensure they go towards classroom goals. Checks should be made payable to Valentine Hills PTO.
All Donations are tax deductible. Receipts will be sent for donations over $250.
Corporate Matching Gifts: Many employers will match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations. Consider asking your employer if they will match your donation. We know this can be a long process, so once you receive confirmation that your donation will be matched, email us at ValentinePTO@gmail.com so it can go towards your child’s classroom goals. All donations made by October 1st will be counted towards classroom level prizes. We will continue to collect donations through October 9th.
