Welcome to my website!

I am an applied labour economist with an interest in international migration. I am currently based at the University of Southampton where I have a position as a Research Fellow in Economics. I am currently working on the Connecting Generations project, and I previously collaborated to the QuantMig project.  I am also affiliated to the Centre for Population Change.

Before joining the University of Southampton I was an Assistant Lecturer (ATER) at the University of Bordeaux, where I taught at the Undergraduate and Master level and collaborated to the TKC project on migration and innovation.

In 2020 I received my PhD in Methods and Models for Economic Decisions from the University of Insubria (Varese, Italy). My thesis investigates the relationship between international migration and the development of migrants' countries of origin, with a focus on the implications of remittances and transfers of ideas.
