On June 8, 2026 I will give a lecture at the Humboldt University in Berlin on a verb root meaning 'to follow a track', whence for example verbs such as Ger. lehren, lernen and Eng. learn.
On March 26, 2026 I will give two lectures at the University of Perugia: one on Crimean Gothic and its place within Germanic and the other on the Langobardic language, given at the University of Florence earlier this year.

The Summer School will also feature an invited lecture by Elisabeth Rieken (Marburg) titled Hittite – a language of literature and culture.
Moreover, Theresa Roth (HU Berlin) will present the PIE Collective, a newly founded scholarly network which promotes gender equality within the discipline at all career stages.
Participation in the Summer School, including active participation in the Poster Session, stands for 3 ECTS.
The registration fee will be €100. Registrations will open in March and remain open until the end of June.
