so a good place to start would be the pi website, but you know that :).

what can you do? the little powerhouse can do a lot more than just run a retro arcade after all. but first you will need to setup your pi to run. so lets tackle this first. Lets get you to download and install rufus, putty, sd card formater and Noobs(it is the raspbian installation)

It is my mission to catch you up to speed, so lets get started with some reasons for what you will be doing!

sd card formater to prepare your SD card for the operating system prior to installation.

you will use rufus to install operating systems onto your SD card.

raspbian full buster with recommended software is the best to use when you first get into Pi's, it comes with a lot of great software ready to go so you can hit the ground running.

you will make an account with VNC, this will allow you to use your pi's desktop environment remotely allowing you to do so with the pi setup headless(no monitor, keyboard, or mouse).

and last, you will learn how to use your terminal and about the different software that comes with your pi :) .

you can do all of this easily, and, in less time than you would think.
