I am a Posdoctoral Scholar Research Associate in the Computing + Mathematical Sciences department at Caltech, within the Anima AI+Science Lab, focusing on the interplay between applied mathematics, machine learning, and computational methods for dynamical systems and differential equations.
In particular, I have been leveraging the theory of geometric mechanics and numerical integration to improve optimization and machine learning algorithms, as well as leveraging deep learning techniques to accelerate the simulation of dynamical systems governed by partial differential equations.
Research Interests:
Physics-Informed/Structure-Preserving Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
Mathematical Modeling and Computational Methods for Dynamical Systems and Differential Equations
Numerical Analysis, Optimization, and Mathematical Foundations of Scientific Computing and Data Science
