Observational Astronomy
My primary area of research involves multi-wavelength observations and the interpretation of physical processes occurring around supermassive black holes (BHs). I focus on understanding the nature of the power source in active galactic nuclei (AGNs), the cosmological evolution of supermassive BHs and their host galaxies, and their interactions with the environment on both small and large scales. A long-standing interest of mine is the variability of AGN emission, which serves as a powerful tool to investigate the structure and dynamics of the regions surrounding the supermassive BH, as well as the mechanisms of energy production.
