LORE AND MECHANICS SUBJECT TO CHANGE, WE ARE IN CLOSED ALPHA, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
Status Effects, sometimes known as “buffs” or “debuffs”, are continuous, persistent effects which linger on a character. Sometimes magic can afflict it, other times unique items hold the ability to inflict them. Typically, Status Effects are most frequently seen and given out in events.
Likewise with Combat Keywords, this section is NOT a required read; rather, it is a master list for reference whenever needed. During an event, it is expected for a DM to be able to list the Status Effect for you. Otherwise, a spell or item that afflicts a Status Effect will have it listed in its lore.
Status Effects cannot stack. (I.e. If you give someone “Bleeding II” while they have “Bleeding I”, the Bleeding I ends and is immediately replaced by Bleeding II.)
Status Effects cannot reset. (I.e. You cannot give someone “Bleeding I” while they already have it.)
