History

Data were compiled either from original published sources or from the Chuck Bellamy's World Catalogue (2008). All taxonomic and nomenclatural changes published after 2008 were complemented from original sources.

Future

The primary goal for the future is providing a modern online platform comprising encyclopedic knowledge base on jewel beetles for scientists, students or just those interested. Lot of info is still missing (type localities, original generic combination, older references) but current taxonomic should be reflected.

Format

All data are kept in locally in MS ACCESS database. Online public version is updated regularly. For making data publicly accessible, the Caspio platform is used.
