Preconference attendees will experience an immersive look into the Virginia aggregate industry and modern workforce partnerships. This visit highlights the rich history of The Frazier Quarry, dynamic technical career pathways, and real-world applications of industry-aligned learning. Participants will engage with industry leaders, observe active quarry operations, and learn actionable strategies for bridging classroom instruction with high-demand field careers. The experience is designed to showcase how cross-sector collaborations—supported by the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance (VTCA)—prepare students to be college-ready, career-ready, and community-minded.
Preconference registration includes Tuesday evening reception, Wednesday morning breakfast, and transportation.
