Parking: Self-parking in the adjacent Mason Street parking deck is available at $3.00 per car per day for both overnight and day guests.

Join Adam Garry for an interactive workshop exploring generative artificial intelligence!
Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of generative artificial intelligence (AI), including risks, possibilities, and how it can help them in their central office and school leadership roles. Participants will experience a series of hands-on activities and discussions designed to uncover the potential of generative AI in schools and the workplace through prompt engineering, analyzing bias, and discussing ethical use.
With two decades of expertise in consulting, Adam guides educational institutions on their journey toward digital and student-centered learning transformations. He recently led Dell Technologies' education innovation and strategy for 14 years and has been a speaker at prominent conferences around the world. Over the last 20 years, he has contributed articles, blogs, and podcasts on many aspects of education including personalized learning, assessment, generative AI, and leadership. He is currently supporting school districts and companies across the US and Canada with Generative AI initiatives. Additionally, he has co-written two books: "Teaching the iGeneration" and "Personalized Learning Through Voice and Choice". A former elementary teacher, Adam possesses a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Master's in Teaching and Learning with a focus on Technology, and a Certificate in Administration and Supervision.
Nancye Blair Black is an ISTE-certified educator, renowned speaker, and the founding CEO of The Block Uncarved, a consulting firm that cultivates dignity-driven educational practices that empower educators, leaders, and students to succeed. Nancye specializes in the equitable, ethical, and effective integration of emerging technologies in education, including AI, VR/AR/XR, app design, computer science, mobile learning, and digital gaming.
Nancye is an author of nationally-implemented computer science curricula and several publications, including STEM in Early Education: A Guide to Integrating Technology, the Hands-On AI Projects for the Classroom series, and the “AI in the Classroom” Jumpstart Guide. She serves as ISTE+ASCD’s AI Explorations Project Lead, director of the AI Explorations in Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs) Faculty Fellowship, Project STEM's PD Director, and was recently recognized with the prestigious Making IT Happen Award. She is also a partner technology leader at Mi Escuela Montessori, a toddler-grade 8 charter school empowering learners to be bilingual communicators, global change makers, and lifelong learners. Beyond her consulting work, Nancye is a doctoral researcher in Instructional Technology and Media at Teachers College Columbia University.
