What is Digital Empowerment?

 Digital Empowerment refers to the process of equipping individuals and communities with the skills, tools, and access needed to fully participate in the digital age. In today’s world, being digitally empowered means not just using technology, but using it effectively, securely, and ethically. 

This course, "Digital Empowerment" (VAC – DU), is designed to provide foundational knowledge about digital tools, online safety, communication platforms, and government initiatives under Digital India. It enables students to: 

• Understand the goals of digital inclusion.
  
  

• Learn safe practices in cyberspace.
  
  

• Use digital platforms for education, finance, and communication.
  
  

• Engage in ethical online behavior.

By the end of this course, students will be prepared to thrive in a digitally connected society and become responsible netizens.
