The vast majority of the parents, activists, and researchers who question vaccine safety and policy are not "anti-vaxxers" and do not call for banning vaccines. Rather, they believe that vaccines should have to undergo the same kinds of safety testing that most prescription drugs have to undergo, that all vaccines should have health-threatening metals removed from them (such as mercury and aluminum), that vaccines should be subject to the same liability as that of prescription drugs, and that vaccines should be voluntary.
