Zachary Ciabattari is author who posted this document on Facebook. This document is put together after hours and hours of research from various source. He was kind enough to allow me to share this with you. Please note that he did not call it the "Ultimate Vaccine Appointment Guide". However, after reading through this, you will agree why I named it as such. Save yourself hours on Facebook and read this!
For anyone struggling to sign themselves or a loved one up for vaccine appointments in NJ I created this guide that will hopefully help. I saw someone post a similar guide a couple weeks ago and it helped me tremendously. I have been able to secure about 15-20 appointments for friends and family using these tips.
Do not rely on the state or county registrations to get you appointments. It is good to sign up for as many registrations as possible, but they are sending out appointments very slowly and most people will not get appointments this way. The best way to obtain a vaccine appointment is by finding sites posting available appointments as they come out.
I found a ton of appointments by checking this Facebook page frequently where people post various sites when appointments are available. It is best to sort the page by recent posts so you can see right away when appointments are posted. The best time to find appointments is between 11 am - 6 pm generally, but appointments are posted all throughout the day. Additionally, you can use the search feature on this group to find info about different vaccine sites and if you do not find an answer you can post to ask questions. There are also people who volunteer on this page to help people get vaccines if you are not tech savvy or unable to book appointments for other reasons. This is the number one best resource for anyone struggling to find appointments. PLEASE DO NOT POST ATLANTIC HEALTHCARE OR VIRTUA LINKS FOR MOORESTOWN MALL. THESE ARE PERSONALIZED EMAIL LINKS AND SHOULD NOT BE SHARED PUBLICLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PEOPLE WAIT A LONG TIME FOR THESE LINKS.

In addition, you can follow these accounts on Twitter and set up your phone to notify you when they tweet by clicking the bell icon on the top of the page. They frequently announce when appointments are available and give tips as well. The FB page is generally quicker at announcing appointments than the Twitter accounts, but both are a great resource.

Speed is the key to getting an appointment. These appointments can all be taken in a matter of minutes and generally are not open for more than 15-20 minutes after being posted.
Most places require email address, phone number, date of birth, address, and full name. Some require insurance or ssn, but you can usually skip these sections or fill out no insurance. This saves a lot of time and most sites are not requiring insurance. You can sign up for other people if you have their info ahead of time.
Persistence is key. There are going to be many times when you fill out all the info only to find the appointment is gone. Most of these sites require you to fill out all the info before booking the appointment so if someone beats you to it, you will lose the appointment. A good rule of thumb is to shoot for later appointment dates and less desirable times as there will be less people aiming to get those appointments.
I am going to post a bunch of sites where appointments become available below. It is possible to constantly refresh some of these sites and find appointments, but I would advise against it for your time and sanity. It is best to bookmark these pages and when you see people post on the fb page or Twitter, they are available to then go look for appointments. That being said if you have the patience, I know a lot of people have had success focusing on one or two sites and constantly refreshing. If you are taking this approach, please post a link to the Facebook group when you see appointments are available to help others book an appointment
Most sites require id with proof of NJ residency (driver’s license, other ID with proof of address) and require insurance information so I would bring your insurance card to the appointment. If you do not have insurance, that will not be an issue as NJ DOH should pick up the bill. I recommend bringing a printout of the appointment confirmation as well, but a lot of sites do not require it so do not freak out if you are unable to, just make sure you write down the confirmation number if there is one. Some sites require you to live or work in the county. If that is the case, make sure to bring proof of residence in the county or proof of working in the county such as paystubs, work ID, etc.
On the bottom of this post there is additional information such as eligibility requirements and crowdsourced google docs with more information. For a more comprehensive list of sites check out this crowdsourced document. My list is not comprehensive by any means and you will find more info in the crowdsourced documents for sites I am not as familiar with.

(Appointments for meadowland mega site in East Rutherford. Appointments are posted fairly frequently but no rhyme or reason behind when they are posted. Do not need a MyChart account just sign up as a guest and make sure to take note of appointment time and date. Do not need printout at appointment just ID and insurance card)
St Joseph’s Health
https://www.stjosephshealth.org/get-vaccinated
(Appointments in Wayne and Patterson. Appointments are posted often. Once again, there is no pattern for when they are released as far as I can tell)

(Locations in south Jersey. Fills up very quickly)
Atlantic City Mega Site
http://vaccination.atlanticare.org/
(Appointments for Atlantic City mega site. They use a lottery-based system, and they announce in advance the dates/times when the lottery is happening. Have not used myself and I have heard it can be very hard/take a long time to sign up but worth a shot as they have a lot of appointments available especially if you are in south Jersey)
Rite Aid
https://www.riteaid.com/pharmacy/covid-qualifier
(Stores all over NJ. My recommendation is to wait for people to post that appointments are available on FB or twitter instead of constantly checking)

(Same advice as for Rite Aid)
Vault Healthcare Passaic County

(Have not seen appointments in a week or two but worth bookmarking for when they release more. Site is extremely slow/buggy)

Camden County College Blackwood
https://www.camdencounty.com/vaccineregistration/

Union county residents
(Appointments have been posted almost every day largely between 8-10 pm but it is variable and is subject to change. They fill up very quickly)
Bergen County residents
(I have heard appointments generally are released between 4-6 pm but I think they are somewhat variable and are subject to change)
Essex County residents
https://www.essexcovid.org/vaccine/vaccine_availability
(One of the best sites. They release appointments almost every day around 8 am. They will email you a date and time for your appointment within 24 hours of booking the appointment, but they do not let you choose the time)
Ocean county residents

Saint Luke’s Hospital

Cape May County
Going through central state scheduling system
NJVSS
(I have heard of some people getting appointments through the central NJ site so worth filling out but do not count on an appointment through here anytime soon. A lot of smaller sites throughout the state are going primarily through the NJ scheduling system)
I have not used any of these numbers myself. Be warned you will likely be on hold for at least an hour or two, the line may disconnect, and there is no guarantee they will have appointments even if you get through. But I have heard of a lot of people successfully scheduling through here. Good option for people who have lots of time or are not very tech savvy.
