Table to Table

Table to Table is a community-based food rescue program that collects prepared and perishable food that would otherwise be wasted and delivers it to organizations that serve the hungry in Bergen, Hudson, Essex and Passaic counties. This fresh food is delivered free of charge to 250+ community organizations throughout the area, including elder care facilities, drug rehab centers, homeless shelters, homes for victims of domestic violence, HIV day centers, and pantries serving the working poor. Table to Table is the first and only food rescue program in Northeast New Jersey solely dedicated to redistributing fresh and perishable foods. In 2019 we delivered enough food for 26,000,000 meals.

JBWS

Jersey Battered Women's Service (JBWS) in Morris County, NJ is a full-service domestic violence and domestic abuse prevention agency with volunteer opportunities. The services include a 24-hour hotline; counseling; safe house; transitional living; children's services; life skills education; vocational counseling; batterer's intervention; legal assistance; teen dating violence services; professional training, education and youth prevention programs; and the Morris Family Justice Center. The mission of JBWS is the prevention of domestic violence through the protection and empowerment of the victim, the rehabilitation of family members, the advocacy for social reform to prevent partner violence, and the education of the public about domestic violence and its consequences.

Central & Northern Jersey

Our goal is to provide a true “home away from home” for families of seriously ill children receiving care at medical facilities near our locations in Long Branch and New Brunswick. We also offer Family Rooms and a Hospitality Suite in the pediatric units of four hospitals in Monmouth and Middlesex County.

We offer a welcoming, supportive environment for families during a time of uncertainty and stress. Family members can stay together in a comfortable home with private rooms and many amenities, helping them to remain strong throughout the course of their child’s treatment.
