Reporting to - Training Team Lead| Location - Mae Sot, Thailand
Support the design, coordination, and monitoring of training programs. The Training Officer focuses on training design, curriculum development, and coordination of training activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Design and Curriculum Development
Design training modules, session plans, and learning materials.
Adapt training content for different youth groups and contexts.
Support the Training Lead in developing training curriculum.
2. Training Coordination
Support planning and implementation of the training calendar.
Coordinate trainers, volunteers, and participants for training activities.
Support preparation of training materials and facilitation plans.
3. Monitoring and Learning
Collect and review participant feedback and evaluation results.
Monitor learning outcomes and training effectiveness.
Prepare simple summaries and reports on training activities.
4. Team Collaboration
Work closely with the Training Associate during training preparation and delivery.
Provide basic guidance and mentoring to volunteers and interns.
Encourage teamwork and shared learning within the training team.
5. Documentation and Data Management
Maintain training databases and participant records.
Support documentation of training activities, lessons learned, and success stories.
6. Organizational Participation
Participate in staff meetings, training team meetings, and organizational workshops.
Represent the Training Team in meetings or events when requested.
7. Compliance and Ethical Standards
Follow organizational policies including safeguarding, PSEA, and code of conduct.
Ensure responsible use of training data and participant information.
Qualifications & Skills
At least 2–3 years experience in youth programs, facilitation, training, or community work.
Experience facilitating workshops or group discussions.
Interest in training design, curriculum development, or youth leadership education.
Good understanding of youth empowerment, gender equality, and community leadership.
Good communication and facilitation skills.
Ability to work with young people from different backgrounds.
Well skills in documentation and report writing.
Computer skills (documents, spreadsheets, presentations).
Willingness to learn and grow as a training professional.
Fluency in Myanmar language, Intermediate English and Basic Thai and Karen communication preferred.
Coursework or experience related to gender equality, feminist leadership, youth empowerment and human rights
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Education, Development Studies, political science or related field.
