Reporting to - Training Officer |Location - Mae Sot, Thailand
Support the delivery and facilitation of training activities and assist with documentation and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Facilitation
Facilitate group activities, discussions, and participatory learning sessions.
Support delivery of training modules designed by the Training Team.
2. Training Operations
Assist in preparing training materials and activity tools.
Coordinate participant communication and support training logistics with program team when needed.
3. Documentation and Data
Collect attendance lists and participant feedback forms.
Support data entry, documentation, and training records.
4. Learning Support
Assist the Training Officer and Lead in implementing the learning development cycle.
Participate in reflection sessions to improve training activities.
5. Volunteer Support
Guide volunteers and interns during training activities.
Encourage a supportive learning environment for young participants.
6. Organizational Participation
Participate in staff meetings and training team meetings.
Represent the Training Team in community activities when required.
7. Compliance and Ethics
Follow organizational policies including safeguarding, PSEA, and code of conduct.
Maintain confidentiality and responsible handling of participant data.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in youth activities, community work, or facilitation.
Comfortable speaking and engaging with youth groups.
Interest in youth empowerment and leadership development.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
Willingness to learn training facilitation and leadership skills.
Fluency in Myanmar language, Elementary English and Basic Thai and Karen communication preferred.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Education, Development Studies, political science or related field.
