I have adobe premiere CC but when i go to load universe transitions it show up in the video effects bin and not video transitions and once i put it on a video from video effects the program crashes does any one have a solution for this ?

I have a decent Specs for my pc. What I have noticed is that while I am applying any red giant universe effects in any footage on premiere pro timeline, It lags soo much that I have to remove or disable the effect to be able to edit the video. And if i apply same effects on same footage in after effect it doesnt lag at all. Is there anyone who experience same issue? Is there any solution to this?

I am sorry to say that "error connecting to universe runtime" pops up also at version 22.0 ( in my case) i moved back to 2021 pp version. Think it is 15.0. Now i have no problem. If possible try using Red Giant plugins only in After Effects and then export clip to Premiere Pro.

In any cases, I'll cancel my Maxon subscribtion: close to cost 2x adobe suite + a lot of bugs, even before this particular one + no support. When comparared to FxFactory on mac and a lifetime plugin use, just a shame. So bye bye.

Unfortunately I've been running into issues with Adobe Premiere for over a year now with my new PC.

As soon as I use the hardware accelerated plugins from Red Giant - Universe, my adobe crashes or playback stops. And as I try to render the video it also crashes. I've contacted Red Giant/Maxon, but they can't reproduce the problem on their end.

I believe this is an issue between AMD and Premiere unfortunately.
