Participants were welcomed by host families, providing an opportunity to get acquainted with the local culture and customs.
Monday: Group Activities and Ecological Exploration
Group Activities in the Yellow House: Engaged in ecology-related activities at the Library and Community Centre in Szigetszentmiklós.
Walking in the Nature Trail at the Danube Bank: Explored the local natural environment.
Group Competition: Hungarian students prepared tasks at six stations with quizzes about local fauna and flora.
Sports at Oasis Wellness Centre: Participated in various sports activities, promoting physical fitness and team building.
Tuesday: Presentations, Workshops, and Excursion
Presentation on the Project Topic: Shared information and findings related to the project.
Quiz and Workshops – Our Futures: Engaged in interactive learning sessions about future ecological challenges and solutions.
Work on Reducing Eco Footprint: Focused on transportation and food to reduce ecological footprints.
Excursion to Ráckeve: Visited the Water Mill and a museum exhibition related to water energy, gaining insights into sustainable energy sources.
Wednesday: Sightseeing in Budapest and Cultural Activities
Sightseeing in Budapest: Explored the capital city, enhancing cultural understanding.
Boating from the Parliament to Margaret Island: Enjoyed a scenic boat trip, learning about the city's history and landmarks.
Visit to the Nature Museum: Gained knowledge about natural history and biodiversity.
Thursday: Final Group Activities and Farewell
Group Activity in the Yellow House: Collaborated on a group project and made a report for local TV, improving communication and media skills.
Ball Games: Participated in football and volleyball, fostering teamwork and physical activity.
Farewell Party at the School Canteen: Celebrated the project's success and built lasting friendships.
Final Project Evaluation: Reflected on the week's activities and evaluated the overall project experience.
Friday: Departure
Participants bid farewell to host families and returned to their home countries, enriched with new experiences and knowledge.
