Check that your Vehicle Registration Number (VRN) is right in the Fastag system?

When your vehicle comes pre-installed with the FASTag, then the Vehicle Registration Number (VRN) is not updated with the issuing bank, so neither with your FASTag.

Funds are instantly credited to the FASTag account for successful UPI (G Pay, Paytm, etc.) transactions. However, you need to update the VRN to your FASTag account.

What happens if KYC is not done for SBI FASTag?

Customer onboarded with minimum details needs to be converted into KYC compliant customer within a period of 24 months* from the date of issuance of tag, failing which no further credit shall be allowed in FASTag wallet.

What is limited KYC in SBI FASTag?

Limited KYC Holder Account: The FASTag account of a Limited KYC Holder can not have a balance of over Rs 10,000 at any given point of time. The monthly reload limit is also capped at Rs 10,000.

What is Full KYC in SBI FASTag?

Full KYC Holders account, at any given point of time, this type of SBI FASTag account cannot have more than Rs. 2 Lakh in their FASTag (prepaid) account. There is no monthly reload cap in this account.

# Replace FASTags older than five years.

#Starting February 1, 2024, NHAI stated that only the most recent FASTag account will remain operational, while earlier tags will be deactivated or blacklisted.
