I offer walks (in NE DC), drop-in visits, daycare, and overnight stays.
I take a maximum of two reservations at a time which allows me to provide a loving home, offer personalized care and enrichment, and build a trusting relationship with your pup. Under my care, your pup will have access to a clean, comfortable, and caring home with private and secure outdoor spaces.
For daycare and boarding at my place, I only take dogs who are under 65 lbs, 1+ years old, and neutered/spayed. A meet-and-greet is not mandatory if your dog has been adequately socialized, but I recommend at least one day of daycare so your pup can meet Laila and become familiar with our surroundings.
Throughout your pup's stay, I will share photos and videos to keep you updated on how they are doing. Your pup will get plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation in the form of walks, play, and treat puzzles. Weather permitting, I will provide pups with lots of outdoor time.
If you decide to leave your pup with me, I will ask you to complete an intake form to gather basic information (e.g. diet, temperament, care needs, vet info, emergency contact, etc.) so I am well-prepared to care for them. I am comfortable administering medication and taking care of pups with certain health needs.
If your pup is bigger, cannot be around other dogs, or has mobility issues (my condo has stairs), I will watch them at your place.
I also cat-sit and would love to care for your kitty when you're away. Similar to dog-sitting, I will share photos and videos to keep you updated on how they are doing and flag any noticeable issues with your pet or home.
Depending on what your kitty likes, they will get cuddles, treats, and mental stimulation in the form of laser play, catnip, or any toys they like. I offer 30-min or 60-min drop-in visits depending on your need.
Prior to taking care of your kitty, I will ask you to complete an intake form to gather basic information (e.g. diet, temperament, care needs, vet info, home entry instructions, etc.) so I am well-prepared to care for them.
I prefer a meet-and-greet so they are familiar with me when I come by the first time and I am familiar with their food, litter box, supplies, etc.
