Yes: In most cases ( except Mammograms, Bone Mineral Density scans/Dexa scans & Immigration/Emigration Chest X-ray) you will need a referral letter from your doctor or any qualifying health care professional eg physiotherapist, Community health care Nurse etc.
Yes: You can come in with any referral letter. It does not have to be on our stationary nor does it have to be populated with our details. You the patient have a constitutional right to choose any HPCSA registered medical imaging professional to get your scans done.

Yes: Your scans are reported by a Specialist Radiologist who is a specialist doctor like a Cardiologist, Urgologist, Neurologist etc.
Yes: Your scans are perpormed by qualified HPCSA registered Radiographers and reported by a Specialist Radiologist who is a specialist doctor like a Cardiologist, Urgologist, Neurologist etc.
No: Take food and medication normally. We will communicate with you directly if there are any preparations required before a scan.
No: Only Mammograms can be slightly uncomfortable ( not painfull) between 3 to 4 seconds while the x-rays are taken of the the breast region.
