Welcome to ContentFlow AI ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ContentFlow AI.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Full name and email address (during account registration)

• Password (stored securely via Supabase Auth — we never see your plain-text password)

• Profile information such as username, bio, phone number, and website URL

• Social media post prompts and generated content you create within the app

• Preferred language, tone, and platform settings

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device type, operating system version, and app version

• App usage data such as features used and screens visited

• Authentication session tokens (managed by Supabase)

• Error logs and crash reports (for app stability)

2.3 Information from Third Parties

• If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from those providers

• We do not receive your social media account credentials or post to social platforms on your behalf

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account

• Generate AI-powered social media content using your prompts

• Save your generated posts to your personal history

• Personalise your experience based on preferred language, tone, and platform

• Send password reset and account-related emails

• Improve the app, fix bugs, and develop new features

• Respond to your support requests and feedback

• Comply with legal obligations

We do NOT use your content or data to train AI models. Your prompts and generated posts remain yours.

4. AI Content Generation

ContentFlow AI uses the Groq API (powered by Llama AI models) to generate social media content based on your prompts. When you tap "Generate Content":

• Your prompt, selected platform, language, and tone are sent to Groq's API servers

• Groq processes your request and returns generated text

• The generated content is displayed to you and optionally saved to our database

Please refer to Groq's Privacy Policy at groq.com/privacy for information on how they handle API requests. We do not share your name, email, or account details with Groq — only your content prompt is transmitted.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted backend-as-a-service platform:

• All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher

• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text

• Row-level security (RLS) ensures you can only access your own data

• Our database is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

• Account data: retained while your account is active

• Generated posts: retained until you delete them or close your account

• Session logs: retained for up to 90 days for security purposes

When you delete your account, we permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
