1. buy 1 2 and 3 from the shopping list then buy (or just have) a thumb drive
2. unbox everything (keep the gpi0 guide)

4. grab the gpi0 guide and
mount the fan to the pins this video--------------------------->

5. put the case on
6. go to a computer and download the raspberry pi imager go to https://www.raspberrypi.com/software/ and scroll to raspberry pi imager
7. eject every thumbdrive, sd card etc from your computer (to be safe)
8. put the micro sd card supplied in the kit into your computer
9. go to the (rpi) imager and select rpi 4 from the first box in the 2nd box select either the 64bit (non legacy) or 32bit (non legacy) then customize some settings so it can out of the box connect to the inernet finally in the 3rd box select your micro sd card
10. click next and you will wait when it is done eject your micro sd (or it will be ejected by the imager)
11. repeat step 9 but with a micro sd from the second thing on the shopping list and the second box in the imager being emulation and game os then retropie (the newest version) then repeat step 10
12. repeat step 9 but with the other micro sd from the second thing on the shopping list and the second box in the imager being media player os then osmc (the newest version) then repeat step 10
13. have a length 8 height 11 width 16 height (150 size) amazon box (or a different size box)
14. attach the 3 from the shopping list to the micro sd slot (optional: make the micro sd extender be upside down on the rpi and twist to right side up
15. place the rpi (and micro sd extender) into the box and cut holes accordingly (with a vent hole)
16. stick the rpi onto the box and stick the micro sd extender onto the box withe the slot part sticking out of the box
17. mark up the box with markings
18. label all 3 micro sds with a sharpie with o for Osmc p for raspberry Pi os and r for Retropie
19. insert the retropie micro sd put the pi switch onto the power cable connect all the cables (including a keyboard) and turn it on
20. setup keyboard controls

21. turn the rpi off
22. go on a computer and insert a thumb drive
23. make a folder called "retropie-mount" on the thumbdrive
24. eject the thumbdrive put it in the rpi and turn it on
25. wait 5 minutes and after that turn off the rpi you can now either use a computer to put roms on the thumbdrive (in the correct folder) or you could do that on rpi os mode
26. congrats you are done
