• KHEOBS − Strengthening the use of Earth observation in Cambodia: Towards a laboratory of excellence in remote sensing at the Institute of Technology (PI at IRD-Espace-Dev: V. Herbreteau and others, and ITC-WAE Research Unit: V. Ann). WAT-HEALTH Project (FSPI-IRD) (Budget: 50,000.0 USD, 2022-2025) and AfriCAM Project (PREZODE) (Benefit to ITC, 58,160.0 €, 2023-2026). 

The KHEOBS Laboratory was officially inaugurated in November 2022 by the Managing Director of IRD (Dr. Valérie VERDIER), Embassy of France in Cambodia (H. E. Jacques PELLET), and the Director General of ITC (Prof. Dr. PO Kimtho). 

• Etude de la caractérisation hydropédologique du bassin versant Chrey Bak (PI at ITC/GRU: V. Ann, and Co-I’s: L. Hang, P. Ket, and R. Chea), funded by CUI-ITC01 (Budget: 24,500.0 USD, 2012-2013).

• PREACTS AfriCAM-Cambodge : Renforcement des capacités en acquisition et traitement des données spatiales par télédétection au Cambodge (PI at IRD/UMR-Espace-Dev : V. Herbreteau and others), funded by AFD (Benefit to ITC, 58,160.0 €, 2023-2026).

• Réa-Sol : Réhabilitation et gestion durable de la fertilité des sols pour une agriculture durable et résiliente au Cambodge (PI at IRD/UMR iEES-Paris : P. Jouquet and others). Ministère de l'Europe et des Affaires étrangères français (crédits FSPI demandés : 269,600.0 €, cofinancements : 70,000.0 €, 2022-2024).

• SATREPS – Establishment of Environmental Conservation Platform of Tonle Sap Lake [PI at TIT: C. Yoshimura, Co-I’s in Japanese universities (TIT, IPU, YU, TPU, SU, KU, IGES and IU) and in Cambodian institutions and ministries (ITC/WAE-FTN Units, MoEYS, MOWRAM, MoE and TSA)], funded by JST/JICA (Budget: 5.0 million USD, 2016–2021).

• Collaborative Research Platform to Manage Risk and Enhance Resilience of Coral Reef in Southeast Asia (PI at TIT: R. Khanal, Co-I’s at TIT, ITC/WAE Unit, VJU, CU, VNUA, YU, RMUTP and TSA), funded by APNIS (CRRP2018-FP12) and another funding-secured agency (Budget: 80,000.0 USD, 2019–2021).

• Assessing the economic value of bio-slurry, by-product of the methanization process, as a fertilizer, through soil sampling and monitoring (PI at SNV: M. Albert, Co-I’s at ITC/WAE Unit: V. Ann, B. Ty, P. Ket, and at ULiège/GxABT: K. Amigh), funded by SNV (Budget: 4,010.0 USD, June–August 2019).

• Spatialisation des données météorologiques, grand lac Tonlé Sap, Cambodge – Spatial Interpolation of Meteorological Data - Tonle Sap Lake, Cambodia (PI at ULiège/GxABT: S. Ly, Co-I’s at ITC/GRU: P. Someth and V. Ann), funded by CUI-ITC01 (Budget: 80,000.0 USD, 2008-2013).
