Gratitude

Gratitude

Gratitude is the affirmation of goodness in our lives and recognizing that the source of this goodness resides outside of ourselves. The social dimension of wellness is a huge factor in gratitude because it involves being supported and affirmed by others. To further increase your gratitude, not only appreciate the gifts that have been given to you, but also pay it forward to others.

Gratitude can…

  • Increase happiness and other positive emotions

  • Decrease anxiety and depression
