How are our actions with this organization related to World History or a global unresolved world issue?
A lack of access to the arts is a persistent issue facing the world today. By volunteering at the Armory, our group will attempt to help with the lack of arts access by providing volunteer hours to an organization who brings arts, in their case visual arts, to children in Pasadena and its surrounding communities. This opportunity will allow us to connect our understanding of the artistic revolutions during the Renaissance and, more pertinently, the Enlightenment to volunteering opportunities that will benefit the artistic development of our community in the present world.
