Undergraduates
The Child Cognition Lab has openings for research assistants. As a research assistant you will learn about research in Developmental Psychology. You will help conduct studies on preschoolers and older children, and you will help recruit schools for the studies to be conducted. This position is typically paid, although you can also join for academic credit (e.g., Psych 264 or Psych 464). Work in the lab requires a time commitment of about six hours a week (divided into two shifts).
To apply to be a research assistant, please send an e-mail to friedman@uwaterloo.ca, briefly explaining your interest in joining the lab, and describing any previous research experience. If you know your schedule, please list the weekdays for which you are available to work from 9 am to noon. Also, please attach an unofficial copy of your transcript to the e-mail.
