Festival Music Playlist DIY Activities

1.  Listen to inspiring music:

In 2021 we developed the UUFCC Imagine & Dream music playlist to accompany the light display in the first lantern garden event.  You will probably hear some of this music if you come to a festival event.  The list is composed of popular songs, some about human imagination, but most about human dreams for a better life or a better world.  One good DIY use of the playlist is to listen to it while doing other festival DIY activities like making lanterns or playing a festival-themed game.  A Spotify version of the list is provided below.  Be aware that it might play radio ads.

2. Help expand the popular music playlist:

It would be great to get your suggestions of popular songs for the existing playlist.  Build your own list and share it, or email your individual song suggestions to Ashley or Doug.

3. Help create new types of festival music playlists.

One type that is of interest is an entirely instrumental UUFCC Imagine & Dream playlist.

In 2022 the UUFCC Jazz Band director David Morris created a list of Inspirational Instrumental Jazz music on Spotify (see link below).   What a great contribution and maybe the start of a pattern - festival-theme-related music playlists within a single musical genre.
