Property and our cottages are located in South Karelia at municipal of Luumäki, in Finland. Nearest village is called Kannuskoski.
There is just 8km drive from main road 6 to the cottage.
Closest airport is at Lappeenranta about 65km away. Ryanair is flying to several countries. They are finding new flight routes every year.
Finnish main airport is at Helsinki and its 169km away. There you can fly all over the world.

The main idea is to offer reasonable price cottage, sauna and nature experience for those who are travelling alone or as a couple in Finland.
I started to rent this compact questhouse in late 2018 on Airbnb. I have had guests from many countries like Germany, Russia, Italy, France, Sweden and so on. I got Airbnb superhost status first time in June 2019. At 2019 i started to rent also on Tori.fi website for finnish people. I have noticed that the best and easiest way of renting is rent only whole weeks in summer time. In spring and autumn i also rent variable times for airbnb travellers. I have had superb feedback and awsome reviews. My goal is to help guests to enjoy the holiday everyway i can.

Cottage is built to bank of Väliväylä river. There is great hiking trails nearby. Trails goes along the river and Kyykoski rapids are just a short walk from the cottage. You have lot to do just outside the cottage: example fishing, sailing with a small rowboat, barbque out side or in barbequehut, play many outdoorgames like betanque, croquet and so on. Since 2021 you have been able to rent kayaks and make your own adventures in the Finnish nature. Ask for more info.
Repovesi national park is just 28km north west from the cottage, but 54mins by car.

The KymiRing race track is just 49km / 40mins from our cottages.
In 2020 i started to build second rental cottage becouse the lakeside questhouse has been fully booked all the time.
In the future i will be also able to offer accommondation to motorsport travellers.
New cottage has room for 2-4 persons, when it is finished. (hopefully in summer 2021)

If you are looking for holiday in Finland, you should check these out. Our guesthouses are not too big but there is lot to do outside. Have a picnic at Kyykoski rapids nearby or take a journey to history of Kannuskoski and ofcourse you can always heat up the sauna and relax.

This rapid is called Kyykoski. There is bridge to get over. One of the nature trails goes along this river.
