Uttaran Dutta (Rio)

I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in the Department of Mathematics at the University of South Carolina under the guidance of Dr. Matthew Ballard. Here is a link to my CV.

Research Interests: I work mostly in the intersections of birational geometry and derived categories.

• Bridgeland stability conditions

• Brill-Noether theory of the moduli of sheaves on surfaces

• Enumerative geometry 

I did my Master's from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Mohali. In my Master's thesis, I studied various Derived Categorical methods in Algebraic Geometry and the Chow-Kunneth decomposition of the motive of an Abelian Variety.
