Master course:

If you will study quantum/computational chemistry in our university in master course, please read below carefully.

Our laboratory belongs to "Faculty of Science", which means that the entrance examination is for those who have studied pure chemistry (*NOT Chemical Engineering or Applied Chemistry). You will have to study all of three fields (physical, inorganic/analytical and organic chemistry) to pass the entrance examination, which are not easy.

Under such circumstances, students, especially those who majored only in chemical engineering at overseas universities, need to study for at least four months after coming to Japan in order to pass the entrance examination. If you interpret this study as a waste of time and effort, we do not recommend our laboratory.
