Founded in 2017, UTSVA strives to build a stronger Vietnamese community at the University of Toronto Scarborough by fostering a fair, solidarity representation among students who share the same origins and interest in Vietnam and the Vietnamese culture. The Association will act as a liaison between students and the Vietnamese community. Together, we will create internal and external opportunities through organizing events that promotes diversity, culture awareness and leadership. The attainment of these goals will be done through providing professional and social events, as well as information sessions regarding the culture and current issues of Vietnam and the international Vietnamese community. Along with the other Vietnamese Associations in Ontario, UTSVA will be celebrating the annual Ignite cultural show and the end of the year Vietnamese Student Association Gala.

Từ năm 2017, Hội Sinh Viên Việt Nam tại trường Đại Học Toronto ở Scarborough, UTSVA đã được thành lập để đại diện và phát triển một cộng đồng người Việt vững mạnh. Tôn chỉ của chúng tôi là kết nối những sinh viên có cùng chung dòng máu Lạc Hồng và cả những người quan tâm đến Việt Nam và văn hóa Việt Nam. Qua các sự kiện khuyến khích ý thức cộng đồng và văn hóa hội nhập, Hội Sinh Viên sẽ mang đến cho các bạn những trải nghiệm có một không hai khi đang học đại học. Để hoàn thành những chỉ tiêu đã đề cập, Hội Sinh Viên sẽ tổ chức các sự kiện xã hội, sự kiện chuyên nghiệp, những buổi thông tin bổ ích về văn hóa, vấn đề tại Việt Nam và cộng đồng Việt Nam quốc tế. Cùng với những Hội Sinh Viên khác ở Ontario, UTSVA sẽ tham gia sự kiện văn hóa Ignite và Gala tổng kết Hội Sinh Viên Việt Nam vào cuối năm.
