Welcome to my site

I am a final year PhD student in the Department of Economics, Lancaster University. My advisors are Dr. Catherine Porter and Dr. Saurabh Singhal. 

My research explores the intersection of labor economics and gender economics, focusing on the impact of policy changes in developing countries. I am particularly interested in how these policies affect gender disparities in labor markets, employment opportunities, and other economic outcomes. Through empirical analysis and fieldwork, my research seeks to provide actionable insights for policymakers to design more inclusive labor markets that promote gender equity and economic development. 

I was recently a visiting researcher with Administrative Data Research, Wales, in Cardiff University (see my profile here). Previously, I was a student consultant with OXFAM, UK for the year of 2023.
