RULES & REGULATIONS FOR STUDENTS
GENERAL RULES/ REGULATIONS/ GUIDELINES
1. School reopens in the month of April.
2. All the students should carry school bag, water bottle and umbrella/raincoat (April-October). All the articles should be clearly labelled with name, class, section and roll number.
3. Students must have the identity card (available from the school office), without which they will not be allowed to enter the school gate.
4. Pre-Primary children must have a spare set of house dress in their bags.
5. All the students should carry school diary and ID/Escort Card, duly signed by the Authority.
6. For the safety of the students, all the guardians/ parents are hereby informed
i) To keep the ID/Escort Card in safe custody
ii) The person responsible for collecting the students should
show the Escort Card at the time of collecting the students of
classes I to V.
iii) The school should be informed immediately, if & when
ID/Escort Card is lost and get a duplicate one with a proper
application.
7.Guardians will drop/ receive their children at the school gate only
8.The school gate will open 15 mins before the schedule time & no student will be allowed inside until the teacher on duty is present near the gate. No student will be allowed to enter after the schedule time the school gate will be closed after the scheduled time.
9. The children must be collected immediately after the classes are over. Beyond the scheduled time the school is not responsible for the children, whatever the reason may be.
10. Parents and guardians are not allowed to see their children or meet teachers during school hours without the permission of the School Authority.
11. 75% attendance is compulsory for every student to quality for appearing in Final Exam.
12. All parents are expected to attend the parent-teacher meeting as and when called for.
13. No student is permitted to bring/use a mobile phone, camera etc inside the school premises.
14. Students who are detected in giving or obtaining or attempting to give or obtain unfair assistance or who are otherwise detected in any dishonesty whatsoever during an examination or test are liable to have the result in the particular subject cancelled. If the student is guilty of repeating the offence he/she may be subject to any disciplinary action the school authority may deem fit, including expulsion from school.
15. The Principal is empowered to direct the withdrawal of a student/s and/or remove the name of the student/s from the rolls of school if the progress and/or conduct of such a student/s in the opinion of the Principal is unsatisfactory. The Principal is also empowered to remove the name of a student from the rolls of the school, if the Principal considers it necessary for any reason to be detrimental to the interest of the school and/or the teacher/s or student/s thereof. The decision of the Principal as regards the aforesaid shall be final and conclusive. Parents/Guardians are liable to pay the cost of school property broken or damaged by their child or children and in addition disciplinary action may be taken when such breakage is will be found .
Children who are absent for more than two month (without any intimation to the school authority) are liable to have their names struck off from the school rolls.
Admission Withdrawal:
A student who withdraws from the school due to any reason whatsoever is required to pay the full fees as
per following rules (fees means all types of fees including the tuition fee).
a) Full fee for the month during which application for
withdrawal is made by the 10th of the month.
b) In case a request for withdrawal is made after 10th of a
particular month, full fee for next month would also be
payable.
The annual charges, however, will be paid in full in both the above cases.
Transfer certificate is not issued until all the dues of the school are cleared, including fees and other payments, fines etc.
If the withdrawal takes place for any of the under mentioned reasons/charges, payment of fee in lieu of notice does not arise:
a) Act(s) of indiscipline;
b) Irregular attendance/too short attendance.
c) Unsatisfactory progress in work/studies.
d) Any other reason(s) which is/are raised due to violation of
any rules of the school and law of the nation.
The school shall have the authority to order/request withdrawal in above cases.
Note to Parents
1. The Hand Book is the most effective medium of Parent – Teacher communication. Parents are requested to check the Hand Book daily, look in for homework endorsement made by the teacher and to communicate their queries through the Hand Book.
2. Parents who seek information or wish to make suggestion should do so to the Principal. The Principal can only be met on all working days during the Visitor’s timings. Parents can meet teachers regarding the child’s progress after getting permission from the Principal and may do so only during the break times.
3. Parents and guardians are requested not to meet their children or interview the teacher during class hours without prior permission from the Principal.
4. Parents are expected to co-operate in the work of the school by enforcing regularity, punctuality and discipline, by taking interest in their children’s progress. They should check diary daily, note the homework and see that the homework is done.
5. Medical inspection is held once a year. Parents are requested to follow the suggestions given by the Medical Officer.
6. The school will strictly adhere to the schedule of working days and holidays as mentioned in the Hand Book. Only under extraordinary circumstances, if there is a Government announcement of a holiday for educational institutions, the school will not function.
7. Cycle- parking: Though school safe guards the cycles parked by the students in the school premises during the school hours, the school will not be held responsible for the loss of any cycle. It is the sole responsibility of the pupils to lock the cycles carefully and not allow them to be misused by his/her friends.
8. Ensure that your wards study and then sign in their Hand Book everyday mentioning their study hours.
9. Observation class: Parents may have the privilege of observing the child’s class-room activities during the school working days with the prior permission of the Principal.
10. Pupils should bring only vegetarian food to the school.
RULES & REGULATIONS FOR TEACHERS
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and issue educational content including notes, tests, and assignments.
2. Supervise classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment.
3. Organize supplies and resources for lectures and presentations.
4. Deliver personalized instruction to each student by encouraging interactive learning.
5. Plan and implement educational activities and events.
6. Ensure your classroom is clean and orderly.
7. Prepare and distribute periodic progress reports and semester report cards.
8. Attend parent-teacher meetings.
9. Evaluate and copies/document students’ progress.
10. Allocate and grade homework, assignments, and tests.
11. Follow and conduct activities as specified in school planner and submit evaluation on time
Duty Rules:
12. Teachers must be present in the academy premises at least 5 minutes before the warning bell is rung for the classes.
13. All the staff has to mention the time of his/her arrival and departure on the attendance sheet along with the signature.
14. If a teacher remains absent for any important task must intimate the Principal/administrator regarding this at least one day in advance. Moreover, he/she should ask any staff member to be a substitute teacher and discuss the following day’s lesson beforehand.
15. The substituted teacher can write his/her name in the substituting list attached to the teachers’ attendance sheet.
16. One CL can be granted every month and 2 short leaves of 1 hr could be granted as per Principals . Administrator’s consideration.
17. All teachers must be loyal towards the institute and have to follow all assigned duties (Academic/Non-Academic).
18. To have expert knowledge of the subject area and pursue relevant opportunities to grow professionally and keep up-to-date about the current knowledge and research in the subject area.
19. Teacher will not allow to leave from the job in between the academic year or if it is very important the he/she must complete one month notice period, else school authorities will have full rights to take action in favour of students.
Teaching
20. To plan and prepare appropriately the assigned courses and lectures

24. To plan and implement effective classroom management practices
25. To design and implement effective strategies to develop self-responsible/independent learners

To promote students’ intrinsic motivation by providing meaningful and progressively challenging learning experiences which include, but are not limited to: self-exploration, questioning, making choices, setting goals, planning and organizing, implementing, self-evaluating and demonstrating initiative in tasks and projects
27. To engage students in active, hands-on, creative problem-based learning
28. To provide opportunities for students to access and use current technology, resources and information to solve problems
29. To provides opportunities for students to apply and practice what is learned
30. To engage students in creative thinking and integrated or interdisciplinary learning experiences
31. To build students’ ability to work collaboratively with others
32. To adapt instruction/support to students’ differences in development, learning styles, strengths and needs

Assessment

Professionalism
42. To be punctual and be available in the school during official working hours
43. To comply with policies, standards, rules, regulations and procedures of the school

45. To take precautions to protect school records, equipment, materials, and facilities

47. To attend and participate in faculty meetings and other assigned meetings and activities according to school policy

Resignation Rules
62. If an employee, at any time after confirmation, intends to resign, he/she shall give 1 month's notice in writing or 1 month's salary including all allowances to the Institution.
63. Vacation cannot be included.
64. This is applicable even for confirmed employees.
65. Leave balance of all kinds cannot be counted for resignation period.
66. Leave during notice period will be without pay.
67. Notice period cannot be extended to suit the candidate's requirement
