ABOUT SURVIVAL (CLICK HERE FOR THE SURVIVAL '26 SCHEDULE)

Over the last 15 Years the BCM SURVIVAL event has served as a great  start to the UTM experience  for over 1,000 students at UT Martin. SURVIVAL '26 dates are Aug 16-19, 2026 (Sunday to Wednesday).

Sunday (Aug. 16) is MOVE IN DAY, Dinner, and Survival Kickoff (you get to move into your dorm housing if you are living on campus) and includes a Light Dinner & Survival Kickoff for Students and Families at the BCM (112 Hurt Street). 

Monday - Wednesday (Aug. 17-19) is Survival Programming 

Monday through Wednesday includes a variety of programming, group sessions, group games, small groups, and late night activities. During Survival, students will learn from CURRENT UT Martin students on how to SURVIVE College life in so many ways...Spiritually, Socially, and Academically. BCM stands for Baptist Collegiate Ministry. However, you do not have to be a Baptist to attend. SURVIVAL is open to everyone! Also, SURVIVAL is for students living ON and OFF campus.
