UTM Builder Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data the UTM Builder mobile application (“the App”) processes and how it is used.

1) Data we collect

We do not collect or request personal data such as your name, phone number, address, passport details, etc.

The App processes the information that you enter yourself, including:

• a base URL;
  
  

• UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term);
  
  

• UTM templates;
  
  

• a history of generated links.
  
  

2) Where your data is stored

Templates and link history are stored locally on your device (in the App’s local storage).
We do not have access to this data and we do not transmit it to our own servers.

3) Short links (link shortening)

If you use the short link feature, the App sends the generated long URL to a third-party link shortening service (Short.io) to obtain a short link.

In this case, the third-party service receives:

• the long URL you want to shorten.
  
  

We recommend reviewing Short.io’s privacy policy, since their handling of data is governed by their own policies.

4) QR codes and Photos/Media permission (Android)

The App can generate a QR code for a URL.

If you use the Save QR feature, the App may request permission to access your device’s Photos/Media library (depending on your Android version).
This permission is used only to save the QR image when you explicitly choose to do so.

5) Analytics, tracking, and ads

The App:

• does not use advertising SDKs;
  
  

• does not track users;
  
  

• does not send analytics data to our servers.
  
  

(If analytics tools are added in the future, this policy will be updated.)

6) Payments

In-app purchases (such as the PRO version) are processed by Google Play.
We do not receive or store your card or payment details. Payment information is handled by Google in accordance with their policies.

7) Data retention and deletion

Because templates and link history are stored locally on your device:

• you can delete items and clear history inside the App;
  
  

• uninstalling the App removes locally stored App data (subject to your device/OS behavior and backups).
  
  

8) Security

We take reasonable measures to protect data stored locally within the App. However, security also depends on your device and account security.

9) Children

The App is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
