Gottsunda Mosque respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Gottsunda Mosque mobile application handles information when you use the app.
Information We Collect
The Gottsunda Mosque app does not require users to create an account and does not collect, store, or transmit personal information to Gottsunda Mosque.
The app does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise or approximate location, contacts, photographs, financial credentials, or other personally identifiable information.
Local App Data
Certain preferences are stored locally on the user's device so the app can remember settings. These may include language selection, appearance settings, notification preferences, selected app icon, and similar preferences.
This information remains on the user's device and is not transmitted to Gottsunda Mosque.
Prayer Times and Notifications
Prayer times are provided within the application. When notifications are enabled, the app schedules local prayer notifications on the user's device.
Notification settings and scheduled notifications are handled locally on the device and are not transmitted to Gottsunda Mosque.
Donations and Swish
The app provides an option to make donations to Gottsunda Mosque using Swish.
When a user chooses to make a donation, the app may open the Swish application or display the mosque's Swish QR code. The Gottsunda Mosque app does not collect or store banking credentials, payment-card information, Swish login credentials, or financial authentication information.
Payments made through Swish are processed by Swish and the relevant financial institutions and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
Sharing of Information
Gottsunda Mosque does not sell personal information and does not share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
Advertising and Analytics
The app does not contain third-party advertising and does not use advertising SDKs.
The app does not use analytics services to track users or create advertising profiles.
Data Security
The app is designed so that core user preferences and prayer-related settings remain locally on the user's device. Because Gottsunda Mosque does not receive this information through the app, it is not stored on Gottsunda Mosque servers.
Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored app preferences remain on the user's device until they are changed, cleared through the device's app settings, or the app is uninstalled.
Gottsunda Mosque does not maintain user accounts or a remote database of personal user information through the app. Therefore, there is no server-side personal user data associated with an account to retain or delete.
Internet Connection
The core prayer-time functionality of the app is designed to work without requiring an internet connection. Certain external actions, such as opening Swish or another external service, may depend on that service and the user's device connectivity.
Children's Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the functionality of the app changes. The latest version will be made available at this privacy-policy page.
