This is an Integrated MS and Ph.D. degree. I was working with Professor Avhishek Chatterjee. My academic pursuits concerned graphical models and opinion dynamics within social networks during the initial phase. Subsequently, I transitioned to researching quantum information theory and exploring fault tolerance mechanisms. I was supported by a Half-Time Research Assistantship (HTRA) from MHRD, India (July 2019 - February 2024). I also received Post-Doctoral Equivalent Fellowship (PDEF) from March 2024 - Sept 2024.
During my undergraduate studies at PSG College of Technology, I undertook paid internships at CSIR-NAL and Schneider Electric Research for a few months. I implemented image processing algorithms for my final year project using Xilinx System Generator in MATLAB. An extension of this project involved developing a model for sorting defective products, such as fruits, in industrial settings. This focused on processing real-time videos using the FPGA Zed board. As part of this project, my team and I developed proprietary intellectual property (IP) using Xilinx Vivado for object detection and segmentation.
