Mohamed earned his MS in Petroleum Engineering from University of North Dakota in May 2019. He is currently working toward his PhD, and his research is focusing on caprock sealing integrity for Carbon storage applications.

Karem is a PhD student in Petroleum Engineering focusing on hot polymer EOR in heavy oil reservoirs which includes mainly experimental work in addition to some simulation using UTCHEM and CMG STARS simulators.

Mohammad Aldaihani

PhD Student

Mohammad Aldaihani is a PhD student at the Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at UT Austin, specializing in Hydraulic Fracturing, Water Injection, and Induced Seismicity. With a strong background in petroleum engineering, he earned his Master’s degree from the University of Tulsa in 2023 and his Bachelor’s degree from Kuwait University in 2019. Mohammad's research focuses on understanding stress reorientation and reservoir dynamics in water flooding projects.
