OUTDOOR GLACIER LAB

Today (Thursday, February 25, 2021) was a great day for an outdoor glacier (pseudo-glacier) lab with the 6th and 10th Grade Earth Science Students. We learned about how glaciers melt and move from the bottom up. We correlated this to our past soil lab where we learned about how the glacier transported and deposited much of the rocks and soil in Buffalo, NY and throughout the upper Midwest/Great Lakes Region.
