Student Learning Support (SLS) provides support services for students in their endeavors for academic excellence. SLS programs ensure that all students are better equipped to handle tertiary studies and get a step closer to their academic goals. Therefore, the crucial practices and strategies in these programs help enhance the student's learning experience at the University. SLS staff members are located in 6 of USP's campuses across the region (Kiribati, Laucala, Lautoka, Samoa, Tonga, and Vanuatu).
To support and strengthen your journey with the university, we have a team of dedicated and skilled Student Learning Specialists focused on ensuring you get the most out of the University experience.
Semester Zero is a FREE online program designed to help students make a smooth transition to their first semester at USP. All incoming first-year students to USP are strongly recommended to complete Semester Zero. It is free and you can set your own pace to complete the programme. Students get the opportunity to enhance their literacy skills, numeracy skills, and digital skills and get to know more about USP Services, Programme and Registration information, and other essential skills necessary for University studies.
