Any member of a local law enforcement agency command who:

• has a minimum of 6 months time in grade as a command member

• is in good standing as a law enforcement officer

Law Enforcement Agency is defined as:

• Los Santos Police Department

• Blaine County Sheriff's Office

• San Andreas State Police (Troopers)

• San Andreas Parks Department

There may be some instances where the US Marshal Service will hire using specialized out-of-the-ordinary methods upon approval by the Director and supported by Congress.

Letters of Interest to the US Marshal Service are currently Closed.

Individuals looking to get hired by the US Marshal Service are required to submit a Letter of Interest to the local field office Chief.

Once reviewed at the local level, they will be escalated to the Director and Congress for review.

Upon approval, next steps will be completed, including an extensive background check, Hiring Review Board (made up of employees from the local field office), fitness and medical checks.
