Progressing through officer ranks is not to be an easy task, as you must achieve new ranks within your unit/platoon/regiment or division in order to be promoted to your next officer rank.
HOW DO I BECOME A OFFICER WITHIN THE MARINE CORPS?
To become an official officer within the marine corps, you must be accepted within Officer Candidate School of the united states military. Officer Candidate School is a officer academy that trains all upcoming officers the traits of becoming an official officer within the U.S. Military.
HOW TO PROGRESS THROUGH ENLISTED RANKS?
Progression through enlisted ranks is easy. As you must pass a basic military training done by Marine Corps Recruitment Command Instructors. Upon passing the military training, you'll be promoted to the rank of Private. You may progress through all junior enlisted ranks by attending a physical training done by Marine Corps Recruitment Command. Upon becoming a Private First Class, you'll be eligible to join any division within the marine corps. Upon joining a division, you'll be able to progression through the ranks of both, the division and the marine corps. Once you achieve a promotion in your division, you'll be promoted in the marine corps. If you at any given moment get demoted, you'll be demoted in both division and the marine corps to the rank under you.
