What are the Seesaw tools?

Photo

This tool is great for taking a photo of your work. Simply tap the photo button, hold your device up to capture your learning, tap the green action button.

Camera Roll/Upload

This tool is great for sharing photos or screenshots you have stored on your device.

Video

This tool is similar to the photo tool but instead you take a video. Simply tap the video button, hold your device up to capture you learning and tap the record button.

Drawing

This tool is great for recording and drawing a response for your learning activity. It has options to change colour, add labels, record a message and add a caption to a drawing.

Note

This tool is great for a written or typed up response to an activity. Simply tap the note feature and begin typing!

Link

This tool is great for importing information or activities from other apps or website links. Simply copy the URL and paste it into the link tool.

Add File/Upload

This tool is great for importing files and documents from Google Drive, Dropbox or iCloud Drive. Simply tap the add file tool, choose where you want to find your document and insert it!

Add/Green plus

This is where students or teachers go to add their work to their journal. The Seesaw tools can be found after clicking on this green plus.

Green Check

This is where students or teachers go to add their work to their journal in the final stages. This means 'yes I am ready to add it on'.
