Classroom Teacher Expectations:
All classroom teachers are expected to post daily or weekly modules or modules by unit. In a virtual platform, a minimum of one synchronous meeting via videoconferencing tool per day. Teachers will be expected to provide timely and frequent feedback of student learning and behavior that is communicated to families. Gradebook updates are expected, at the very least, weekly and feedback can be provided based on need. Teachers will utilize the virtual classroom management system Class Dojo for all positive behavior reinforcement. This tool doubles as a communication to families.
K-5 Teachers: Provide weekly feedback to families on behavior and academics. Any students on a behavior plan will receive daily updates for support.
6-8 Teachers: Provide weekly updates to families and targeted interventions as needed. Updating the Canvas gradebook daily/weekly is expected.
9-12 Teachers: Provide weekly updates to families and targeted interventions as needed. Updating the Canvas gradebook daily/weekly is expected.
