ABOUT MENTIMETER:
I like to use it to create Word Clouds with my students, here's an example:
While your students are viewing the presentations you can do different things:
Apart from creating a Word Cloud it has many other possibilities, such as:
Multiple Choice
Voting on a Multiple Choice question is very straightforward - the participant selects the option(s) and submits.
Image Choice
Voting on an Image Choice question is just like the Multiple Choice question, with the addition that the participant can click on the small image next to the option to increase its size.
Quiz
The Quiz is a special question type, since it is made for the participants to compete with each other. The first step for your audience is to enter the quiz. They will have an avatar assigned to them randomly and they can enter a nickname or use the suggested name. When you, the presenter, start the quiz, they only have a certain amount of time to answer the question. If you have several quiz questions in your presentation, the results from all questions will be accumulated to determine the final winner!
Scales
For rating statements on scales, the participant simply drags the pointer to the score they want to assign to a statement.
Open Ended question
To answer an Open Ended question, the participant inputs the textual response they want to give. If you expect long answers, make sure you give the audience enough time to type their response!
